Strong winds caused havoc with the women’s slopestyle final at Pyeongchang’s Phoenix Snow Park.

BBC Sport commentator Ed Leigh said it was “irresponsible” for the race to continue as the majority of athletes crashed on their runs.

Defending champion Jamie Anderson of the United States won gold with Laurie Blouin winning silver and Enni Rukajarvi taking bronze.

Britain’s Aimee Fuller finished 17th and had a heavy fall on her second run.
